| Biografi | Mr. Van Gelderen is a Specialist Portfolio Manager in the Fixed Income group and is Co-Head of Global Securitized. Most recently, he was Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Securitized Markets at American Century Investments, where he was responsible for all Core, Core Plus, Income and Government mortgage funds and ETFs. Within Securitized Markets, he oversaw a broad range of products across credit sub-sectors. Previously, Mr. Van Gelderen was Co-Head of Guggenheim Partners’ $38 billion Structured Credit investment desk for eight years, where he guided investment strategy and oversaw investment sourcing, analysis, and trade execution. Prior to that, he also served as a Senior Trader and Portfolio Manager for Structured Products at Stark Investments and Vice President of Whole Loan Transaction Management at Countrywide Securities Corporation. He started his career with Thelen Reid & Priest LLP where he was an Associate for the Business and Finance Department. Mr. Van Gelderen holds a BA in English from Duke University and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. | ||

Prior to joining MetWest in 2001, he was a Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co. He was also with Bankers Trust, where he marketed derivative products to financial institutions after he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Southern California Savings. He began his career with Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company. He serves on the boards of the TCW and Metropolitan West Mutual Funds.Mr. Landmann currently co-manages many of TCW and MetWest’s mutual funds, including the MetWest Total Return Bond Fund, the MetWest High Yield Bond Fund and the TCW Core Fixed Income Fund, and leads the fixed income group’s risk management efforts. He is a leader of the MetWest investment team that was recognized as Morningstar’s Fixed Income Manager of the Year for 2005 and has been nominated for the award nine times. Prior to founding MetWest in 1996, Mr. Landmann was a principal and the co-director of fixed income at Hotchkis and Wiley. He also served as a portfolio manager and vice president at PIMCO.Mr. Landmann holds an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. | ||
